Recycled Aggregates
- Lay the edge insulation around perimeter walls to the depth of the slab, used as a slabbing board (depending on esdge insulation choice)
- Put shuttering in place to the thickness of the slab.
- Mis 3 parts of the aggregate to 1 part NHL (by volume) and synthetic fibres (at a ratio of 1kg per tonne of dry slab mix), add sufficient water to make a stiff but workable mix.
- Mix for 20 minutes after the addition of all the water.
- Lay and tamp to the shuttering level, float the floor to an appropriaet finish for the floor covering specified.
- After 24hrs brush the surface of the floor using a stiff brush to remove any sinter skin (this is particularly impornt if laying tile or slabs onto the slabs)>

- These aggregates have been selected due to their technical performance - having good grading, which makes a well performing, easy to use mortar with minimal shrinkage.
- These aggregates will enable you to tailor the colour and texture of a lime mortar to your specific needs.
- This product is made in our manufacturing yard that operates under our Quality Management System.
- This is a recycled aggregate (made from crushed building material), due to this colours can very slightly between batches.
- You should be aware that aggregates occasionally run out, e.g., if a quarry closes. If it is important that you maintain the colour for the whole job, then you should ensure that you purchase sufficient supplies where possible.
