Design - Can I source my own aggregate

When producing quotations for our sublime floors, all the materials required, are based on the information you have supplied, and will be included in the quotation. The screeding aggregate is based on our recycled screeding aggregate, as we are trying to reduce the amount of raw aggregate quarrying/extraction, and hence, reducing the environmental impact of our floors.
Depending on the size and location of your floor, supplying the aggregate from our yard in the Brecon Beacons can increase the delivery cost of the materials. We are keen to reduce environmental impact of deliveries wherever possible so you can source the aggregate for the limecrete from a local supplier, if this is preferable.
It will need to a BS EN 12620 grade aggregate, or a 4mm down concreting aggregate, that is quarried (a beach/ dredged aggregate is not suitable due to potential salt content). Please note we cannot assess samples or quantities etc, this will be entirely your responsibility. If you would prefer this option then, we can amend your quotation to remove the aggregate, and the review the delivery charge.
Please note that our aggregate is sold by weight and a bulk bag is 1 Tonne, so when sourcing material else where you may need to purchase a larger number of bulk bags as they are typically only 800-850kg.
