Design - How does it meet building control requirements?

Our floor systems once had LABC Registered Details and could have been designed to meet Parts A, C and L of the current building regulations, however this was only applicable to every floor being specifically designed and supplied by Tŷ-Mawr.
LABC have decided to discontinue the Regsitered Details Scheme. The following statement is from LABC;
"The lack of an LABC Assured certificate does not mean that a product/system cannot be specified on a Building Regs application. As with all building control applications, the determination of compliance and suitability of a product/system being used within a particular application is down to the building control team at the relevant local authority, not LABC. Therefore, there should be no reason for your customers to cancel their orders solely because of your certificates being expired."
In almost every situation a floor can be designed for a particular purpose, not necessarily to meet building regulations. Our floors can satisfy the requirements of Conservation Officers and achieve listed building consent.
